ALTA and Construction Staking
Home Depot, Crescent City

Points West performed an ALTA Survey on the property formerly owned by KMART for the new Home Depot in Crescent City, Ca. This survey required a comprehensive boundary and topographic survey that included offsite improvements within the CALTRANS right of way on Highway 101 and mapping of all utilities. Storm drains and buried underground tanks discovered in the survey were also mapped. The survey data served as the foundation for the design of the $10 million dollar Home Depot project. Points West was subsequently retained to do all construction staking for the project including rough grade, precise alignment for tilt up panels, storm drains, sanitary sewers, water, curb, signage, and as-built surveys.
